Parking Structures Concrete Parking Structures across the world are suffering from deterioration from wear and tear and corrosion of reinforcing steel. The structures can be rehabilitated used a variety of restoration techniques, corrosion mitigation, and strengthening methods. Repair methods used on bridges include:
Deicing salts are used extensively to keep our parking structures safe in the winter, but penetrate the concrete and corrode the reinforcing steel. To extend the life of the structure the corrosion can be addressed and mitigated using a variety of corrosion mitigation strategies from localized galvanic protection to electrochemical chloride extraction to full cathodic protection systems.
